Destined-Chapter 3

Title: Destined-Chapter 3
Pairing: Ennis/Jack
Rating: NC-17 for m/m loving.
Word Count: about 3,000
WARNINGS: undead!Ennis, major character death (not yet and trust me), minor character death (not yet either), mentions of abuse and non-consensual sex (but nothing graphic and not between our boys)No special warnings for this chapter
Summary: Ennis gives Jack a ride. (in his truck!!)
Author's Note: This fic is a loose cross-over between the BBM and True Blood universes. You do not need to know anything about True Blood other than that it is a show on HBO that features vampires and I am borrowing their mythology for my vamps. There may be mention of TB characters in passing, but treat them as you would an OC since they will not be pairing up with either of our boys. This is a darker fic than usual for me, so I will place appropriate warnings before each chapter. I do not do graphic gore and violence, but there will be neck-biting and other vampire-related activity. After all is said and done, this is first and foremost a love story between two men. As always concrit is welcome. Thank you to [info]lawgoddess, for her thorough and most excellent beta help.

Link to Chapter 3 in my journal.

Notification System

**FINAL EDIT Thu Dec 10 02:15:47 UTC 2009**

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.

And finally some answers to some questions:
